Stories of the Promise: Advent Women Midweek Series
This art pack is designed for a midweek Advent worship series. Old Testament narrative focuses on women that are part of the promised Savior’s story. It is a companion series to the Bible Stories series and also an Advent Sunday series, Stories of the Promise (coming soon). (Non-liturgical, but companion to Year A.) The included series plans are:
Week 1 - Sarah - Gen 21:1-7; Heb 11:11
Week 2 - Rahab - Joshua 6:25; (refer to Josh 2); Heb 11:31
Week 3 - Ruth - Ruth 1:16,17; Matt 1:5
The pack has coordinating art for print and screen. It has a large assortment of jpeg file options, allowing you to focus on a simple art symbol directly related to each woman or art that ties into the Bible Stories series art from the summer. This provides an opportunity to show promises made (during summer) and promises fulfilled (in advent). The connected stories are:
