After all of the work and effort to get my new website up and running, it was fun to take some time to quilt. I often work on projects that will appeal to my style, but will be fun for my family to use, too. One way I do this is with snuggle fabrics, which my kids love. We tend to call any blanket with a snuggle fabric back a "Happy Quilt." I love the variety that is available right now, because I can match the colors and styles to my decor, and still make something the kids will enjoy using.
The nine patch quilted pillow was a fun scrappy project. I took time to carefully place the birds and kitty, knowing the kids would appreciate my efforts. It does seem my attempts to raise kids that love creativity are paying off. My daughter enjoyed a trip to the quilt store with Oma and Mama recently.
Wondering where to find the cuddle fabrics? Many quilt stores now carry them. You can also browse a large selection on fabric.com.
