The Tooth Fairy? Sure, Why Not.

I have a very logical five year old son.  With Christmas approaching, he's frequently questioning the legitimacy of the whole Santa and elves thing.  While he's at it, he's putting the Easter bunny into the mix as well...

"Santa might be real, but the Easter bunny is really you, right Mom?"

"What do you think?  Have you even heard about the tooth fairy yet?"

"No, what's the tooth fairy?  Are you sure that's real?"

"What do you think?"

His eyes say, "you have got to be kidding," but instead, he does his best to humor his parents and answers, "Umm... sure..."

After all, he invents imaginary friends when the mood strikes.  Why not let his parents pretend there's a tooth fairy, too?
